Guiding Light Coaching Services- why us?
đź’śAbout Our Coaches
Our coaches are Certified Recovery Specialists (CRS), credentialed by the Pennsylvania Certification Board. Each of us is in long-term recovery and driven by a passion for guiding others along their own unique path. Many of our coaches are women, bringing added insight and compassion to those who seek gender-specific support.
We understand—firsthand—the challenges, setbacks, and victories that come with reclaiming your life from substance use and related struggles. Our own journeys have been defined by resilience, growth, and an unwavering commitment to helping others. Through lived experience, we’ve developed a deep understanding of the complex obstacles people face on the road to recovery.
We know that no two recovery paths are the same, and we are here to provide personalized, non-clinical support every step of the way. Our mission is to help you discover your inner strength, develop healthy coping strategies, and create a life aligned with your values and goals.
We take a holistic approach—supporting your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being—while respecting your pace and choices.
With compassion, empathy, and real-world insight, we will walk beside you as you build a foundation for lasting wellness.
> Note: CRS services are non-clinical and do not replace therapy or medical care. We follow DDAP and CCBH guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality.
đź’śWhat We Do
At Guiding Light Coaching Services, we provide peer-based recovery coaching through the Certified Recovery Specialist program.
Our role is to:
Co-create recovery plans that reflect your goals, strengths, and needs
Build recovery skills like coping strategies, boundary setting, and relapse prevention tools
Offer field-based and community support to help you follow through on action steps
Navigate resources for treatment, housing, employment, education, benefits, transportation, and community programs
Collaborate—with your written consent—with treatment providers, probation/parole officers, and other supports to keep everyone on the same page
We do not provide therapy, diagnosis, or medical care. Instead, we work alongside your clinical providers and support network to reinforce your progress and help you apply recovery tools in real life.
